Terms of Service — Vivi by Shield IQ LLC

These terms govern your use of Vivi, a conversational SMS assistant operated by Shield IQ LLC (“Shield IQ,” “we,” “us”). By texting Vivi’s number, +1 (978) 867-8484, or otherwise using Vivi, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Vivi — reply STOP to opt out of messages at any time.
The service
Vivi books appointments with businesses and relays household tasks by text message, at your request. Vivi will show you the exact business, date, time, and price before booking, and will only place a booking call after your explicit confirmation. Vivi confirms a booking only when the business provides confirmation; if a booking cannot be completed, Vivi will tell you rather than report it as done. Vivi identifies itself to businesses as an AI assistant calling on behalf of its user.
Vivi depends on third-party messaging, voice, and AI providers and on the businesses you ask it to contact. Availability is not guaranteed, and a task may fail if a business does not answer, declines, or provides incorrect information.
Text messaging program
Vivi text program. Vivi is a conversational SMS assistant operated by Shield IQ LLC that books appointments and relays household tasks at your request. By texting Vivi’s number or replying START, you consent to receive conversational and transactional text messages from Vivi at the number you provided. Message frequency varies based on your requests and open tasks. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of using any other Shield IQ LLC service. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact brubino@shieldiqai.com. Vivi messages only during 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. recipient local time; requests made after hours are handled the next morning. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Household helpers receive task relays only after opting in by replying YES or START to Vivi’s invitation, and may opt out at any time with STOP.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information (businesses, times, helper names and numbers) and review Vivi’s confirmation summary before replying YES to a booking.
- Only ask Vivi to contact people who are adults and who you have reason to believe will welcome the invitation.
- Do not send payment card numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information by text. Vivi never charges a card and never takes payment information.
- Do not use Vivi for unlawful purposes, spam, or to harass any person or business.
Fees
Vivi is offered under the plan terms presented to you when you sign up. Your mobile carrier’s message and data rates may apply to messages to and from Vivi; Shield IQ LLC is not responsible for carrier charges.
Disclaimers and liability
Vivi is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that a booking attempt will succeed or that a business will honor a booking made through Vivi. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shield IQ LLC’s liability arising from your use of Vivi is limited to the amounts you paid for Vivi in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the current version will always be posted at this URL with its effective date. You may stop using Vivi at any time by replying STOP. We may suspend access for misuse of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
